How to Set User Preferences for ProjectWise Integration
Who is this article for?Mail Manager Users that want to use Mail Manager with Bentley ProjectWise.
Access to edit User Preferences is required.
Important: Filing Preferences can be controlled by your Mail Manager administrator. As a result, some of these options may be disabled and only changeable by an administrator.
This article includes details on how to configure the options relating to integrating with ProjectWise, and is split into the following sections:

1. ProjectWise Configuration
From the Mail Manager toolbar select Tools > User Preferences
The User Preferences window will appear:
Enable discovery of filing locations
- When enabled, Mail Manager will discover the projects that contain the specified email folder and show them in the filing and search windows.
Reset Locations
- Select to reset all your ProjectWise locations to use only the ones you can edit, This may take while to complete.
Allow filing of ProjectWise
- When selected, Mail Manager will show ProjectWise locations in the filing window.
Allow searching of ProjectWise
- When selected, Mail Manager will show ProjectWise locations in the search window.
