About the AutoDiscoveryFileSystem.txt file

Shared folderaccess is required.
The AutoDiscoveryFileSystem.txt file is used to automatically discovery filing locations on network file servers.
1. File location
The AutoDiscoveryFileSystem.txt file is always read from the Shared Configuration folder.
A sample file can be found in the Ideagen Mail Manager installation folder, by default these are:
- C:\Program Files\Mail Manager\Sample\AutoDiscoveryFileSystem.txt
- %localappdata%\Mail Manager\Program Files\Sample\AutoDiscoveryFileSystem.txt
2. When is it read?
When local and network folders "Discover filing locations" is enabled the AutoDiscoveryFileSystem.txt is read each time the Ideagen Mail Manager.AutoDiscoveryLocations.exe is run i.e. when Ideagen Mail Manager is started and then at one hour intervals.
3. File Format
The file format is unique to local and network folder auto discovery, please contact Support to setup auto discovery of filing locations.
