How to Set Huddle Preferences

Mail Manager can be integrated with Ideagen's Huddle solution.
This article includes details on how to configure the options relating to integrating with Huddle, and is split into the following sections:
1. Huddle Configuration
Mail Manager includes an administrator tool to centrally update and control all user preferences across your organisation. These preferences are enabled via radio buttons and checkboxes which can be toggled on/off to suit your requirements.
- Open Outlook.
- Navigate to the Mail Manager ribbon.
- Click Tools, and then User Preferences.
- Click Huddle.
- The User Preferences window will open.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + E on the keyboard.
- The Admin Preferences window will open.
The Refresh checkbox will ensure changes are applied to users machines through a forced refresh and Lock will prevent users changing a preference.
Enter the required information:
Huddle Application Client Id

This is required to enable the integration for all users. This can be provided by Huddle Support.
Enable discovery of filing locations

When selected Mail Manager will search Huddle for folders called "Emails" and make them available in the filing and search windows without the need to add the locations via collection files.

Recently added folders are automatically included after a few minutes.

After a short while you will be prompted to enter your Huddle credentials to allow Mail Manager to search for your filing locations.

Up to 30 minutes later you will be able to start searching items that you have filed, together with others in the same location.
Note: Only folders that the user has permissions to access will be available.
Destination folder name for discovery

This can be used to change the folder name to be discovered.
Allow filing

When selected, Mail Manager will show the discovered folders available in the filing window.
Allow searching

When selected, Mail Manager will show the discovered folders available in the search window.
