Admins who manage discovered filing locations.

Shared folderaccess is required.

The AutoDiscoverySharePoint.txt file is used to automatically discovery filing locations on SharePoint.

1. File location

The AutoDiscoverySharePoint.txt file is always read from the Shared Configuration folder.

A sample file can be found in the Mail Manager installation folder, by default these are:

• C:\Program Files\Mail Manager\Sample\AutoDiscoverySharePoint.txt
• %localappdata%\Mail Manager\Program Files\Sample\AutoDiscoverySharePoint.txt

2. When is it read?

When SharePoint "Discover filing locations" is enabled the AutoDiscoverySharePoint.txt is read each time the MailManager.AutoDiscoveryLocations.exe is run i.e. when Mail Manager is started and then at one hour intervals.

3. File Format

The file format is unique to SharePoint auto discovery, please contact Support to setup auto discovery of  filing locations.
