Batch Filer/Filing Folders Results Overview
Who is this article for?Mail Manager users attempting filing emails using the Batch Filer and/or filing folders from Outlook
Mail Manager must be installed.
After filing a folder or using the Batch Filer, there are different items provided in the results. This article explains what is provided in these results:

Filed:
- Successfully filed the email

Skipped
- File already exists in the destination folder

Exception
- Email was filed
- Possible causes include:
- Failed to update Outlook message (Update message subject and set message category)
- Another unknown error not caught during process
- Errors
- Email may have failed to file

Possible causes include:
- Failed to get temp folder path
- Failed to save email to temp folder
- Failed to upload message to target destination
- Failed to delete Outlook message
- Failed to update and delete Outlook message (Update message subject and set message category)
Exceptions indicate that the emails successfully filed but that it was unsuccessful on updating the message subject or adding a category to it
Logs should give more indication of what exception or error occurred. Enhanced logging for this is available since v13.0.
