Add Locations Using a Text File (.csv)
Who is this article for?Mail Manager Users that want to add multiple filing locations to a collection.
Mail Manager must be installed.
Mail Manager supports the creation of multiple locations using a text file (.csv).
- Create a .csv that contains a single location per line with the following format:
"Path","Description" e.g.

Select the Locations button from the main Outlook window i.e. Tools > Locations:
- Select the required collection in the left-hand pane
- Drag and drop the .csv file from Windows Explorer onto the right-hand pane (locations)
- The descriptions and paths will be populated automatically e.g.
- Save the collection as required.
Important Note: If the path is not available a warning symbol will be displayed in the Status column.
