Who is this article for?

Microsoft 365 Teams Administrators who need to setup the Mail Manager Teams Chat Filer.

The Teams Chat Filer allows users to file chat messages and conversations within Microsoft Teams to Mail Manager M365 filing locations.

1. Prerequisites

• Information needed by your Account Manager:
  • Shared Configuration Folder path - Must be in M365 SharePoint
  • Licence ID
  • Contact details
• Approve Mail Manager Desktop and Teams apps
• Install the Teams Chat manifest file - link from your Account Manager
• Install the Mail Manager Desktop app

2. Approve the Mail Manager desktop and Teams chat filer apps

Using the Approve Now link approve the the following Microsoft 365 apps:

• Mail Manager Desktop

• Mail Manager Teams Chat Filer

3. Install the Teams chat manifest

1. Open the Microsoft Teams admin center

2. Select Upload new app:

3. Select the manifest file provide by your Account Manager and upload:
